C-FJBP DHC-2 Beaver Gulf Island Air (not amphibious floats
thus it was a substitute from YBL/Campbell River Base while
one of the YZT aircraft undergoing a C or D maintenance
check that required 3 weeks) . This is a sequence of 8
photographs taken by Monsieur Jean-Fancois Meslier on the
afternoon of either March 4,5,7,11,12,22nd 1980 , when I was
its’ pilot. J-F was standing on the a/c dock in Hardy Bay
with his super 35mm camera taking pictures as I made the
landing on Hardy Bay. Jean-Francois was employed at YZT/Port
Hardy as Albert Bay Air Services/Gulf Island Air’s Freight
