1st in set of 4 pictures that AirBC YZT's pilot Jack Schofield drew & painted using acrylic colours on 4 panels of 4' X 8' hardboard (metalic hardness) over a period of six months in 1980-1981 in the CYZT AirBC pilots lounge.

(2nd of 4). In 1983, it was decided between Jack , AirBC & the Port Hardy Airport Authority that passengers & the general public might also like to see the airport's history. Thus , the 4 panels were moved into the airport's main lobby.

C-GCWJ Mitchell B-25 fin # 5262 RCAF City of Edmonton front view at PVI hangar at CYVR South airport. Mr.L.Bell & R.Grasby of BCIT advised me July 1985 that Jerry Janes owned it when he flew it from one of Edmonton's airports. Subsequently Mr. Janes sold it a few years later. 28 September 1981

N????? Consolidated PB4Y-2 Privateer 4 engines Hawkins Powers Aviation .This one had been sitting at CYZT for a number of years.The number M6800 is seen on rear fuselage. Suspect it had been used in forest fire suppression in Alaska , as that's what Hawkins Powers did in Wyoming, USA. 24 September 1980additional information

The fuselage has been separated from the wing. 2 engines c/w propellors far left . Didn't learn if the dismantling was on behalf of Hawkins Powers or another company. 3 November 1981
